The Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Motorway Project (Including the Osmangazi Bridge and Access Roads), tendered as a Build-Operate-Transfer model, stands as one of the most significant transportation initiatives in Türkiye.

The project reached a pivotal milestone with the inauguration of the Osmangazi Bridge on June 30th, 2016. With a total length of 2,907 meters and featuring a main span of 1,550 meters, it is ranked as the 7th widest mid-span suspension bridges worldwide.

Stretching across a length of 426 kilometers, the project comprises 384 kilometers motorway and 42 kilometers access road. Within this expansive scope, the project encompasses the construction of 38 viaducts, 3 tunnels with a total length of 12,883 meters, 78 bridges, 21 toll collection areas, 35 intersections, 4 motorway operation-maintenance centers and 2 tunnel operation-maintenance centers. Additionally, the route is dotted with 33 service stations and parking areas for the convenience of the passengers.
